Senior Mobile App Developer

The Reserve Bank Innovation (RBIH), set up as a subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), aims to foster and evangelise innovation across the financial sector to enable access to frictionless finance for a billion Indians. As part of its mission, the Hub leverages technology to foster innovation keeping the customer at the centre. The Hub utilises its unique position to accelerate technological innovation by facilitating meaningful collaboration between banks, innovators, entrepreneurs, fintech firms, startups, and other key stakeholders.

As a mobile app developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing and deploying mobile applications and their integration with web services developed as REST APIs using Springboot Java.

• Development, testing, and deployment of cross-platform mobile apps (Android and iOS) using React Native and related tools/ frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React Native framework.
• Proficiency in integration of mobile application with REST APIs
• Proficient in rigorous testing of mobile applications
• Documentation of BRD, HLD, and LLD
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in mobile security best practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment
• Experience of managing development teams

• Strong experience in a technical advisory capacity to clients.
• Good communication skills.

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
• Prepare Business Requirements Document, HLDs and LLDs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver high-quality and performant mobile solutions.
• Translate design specifications into responsive and visually appealing mobile user interfaces.
• Optimize mobile applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Integrate with backend services and external APIs to ensure seamless functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and quality of mobile applications.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development.

7 – 15 years of experience as Mobile App developer

Essential: Graduate degree in engineering from a recognized university.

The appointment will be on a contract basis with an initial term of 3 months and extendable based on Project needs and individual’s Performance.
